Peterborough Motorcycle & Antique Museum
The unique town of Peterborough is in South Australia’s Mid North approximately 250kms from the state capital of Adelaide. After doing a couple of laps around town we found the old church that houses the motorcycle museum we were looking for. It had been recommended to Finchy by a friend who has a similar interest in old motorbikes.
The museum is a credit to the owner who has built up the collection over many years. He told us the Peterborough Motorcycle and Antique Museum opened in 2008 with a focus to introduce a collection of motorcycles not seen or heard of much in Australia.
If you are into bikes this collection is certainly worth seeing. As well as motorcycles there is plenty of memorabilia and antiques to see.
